Job Summary:

To answer customer queries on the phone, by email and live chat ensuring that customers are kept up to date with the progress of their orders and chasing suppliers as necessary.

Job responsibilities:

  • To provide efficient and professional customer service.
  • Maximise, with the support of your Manager all sales opportunities.
  • Carry out responsibilities /duties to the highest possible standard at all times.
  • Answer customer queries in a timely and professional manner advising and assisting the customer of the status of their order, providing advice on fabric selection and quantities required and taking sample requests.
  • Chasing suppliers as necessary and updating customers.
  • Emailing customers with the estimated time of arrival of their fabric.
  • Providing made to measure quotes for our bespoke options to customers.
  • Liaising with our courier company, sorting out delivery queries.
  • Dealing with customer complaints as necessary maintaining a professional manner at all times.
  • Work closely with your counterpart to ensure that the phone/email/live chat is always monitored during periods of absence and is never left unattended during normal working hours.
  • Ensure good communications with team members & customers at all times advising customers of any delays or problems with their orders.

Salary: £25,466.54 per year

Hours Per Week: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
