Must have’s
Minimum of two years' experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade industry
Full UK driving licence
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
High attention to detail
Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
So, what will you be doing?
Welcoming customers and managing their service journey from vehicle drop-off through to collection
Booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs
Checking vehicle history, recalls, warranties and service plans
Liaising with workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure vehicles are completed on time
Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle and obtaining approval for additional work
Arranging courtesy cars, loan vehicles and customer travel where required
Explaining completed work and invoices clearly during vehicle handover
Maintaining up-to-date manufacturer product knowledge through ongoing training
Ensuring all legal and company procedures are followed
Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the service process
Helpful extras
Experience within a premium automotive dealership would be advantageous
