The Role
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced administrator seeking a challenging and varied role.
Griffiths Marshall is a well-established team of Business Advisors and Chartered Accountants with offices in Gloucester, Lydney, and Cheltenham. We support a diverse client base—from sole traders to multimillion-pound groups—with services that include advisory, audit, tax, probate, and wealth management.
As Client Support Administrator, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of our firm, ensuring everything runs smoothly for both staff and clients. This is a broad role that allows you to get involved in many aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across departments, including:
- Onboarding new clients
- Requesting client records
- Conducting compliance checks
- Updating internal systems
- Following up on communications
- Answer incoming telephone calls, field enquiries, and handle general queries
- Provide Reception support as needed: greeting visitors and offering a warm welcome
- Follow up on emails and meetings with clients and prospects, ensuring deadlines are met
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and increase efficiency
- Type, format, and print letters and reports
- File, scan, and process client documentation
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client data
- Support general office operations and housekeeping tasks

- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and proactive in offering support
- Confident working independently and suggesting improvements
- Previous office-based experience, ideally within accountancy or finance
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to prioritise and manage your workload with flexibility
