Gloucester

Shift Pattern: Week 1 Monday to Friday 0700 – 1600

                      Week 2 Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00

                      & 1 Saturday in 4 07.30 – 13.00

We are a dynamic and growing company specialising in waste recovery & merchanting aggregates. We take pride in maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and customer service. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working customer service advisor to join our team.

Role Overview:

Answering incoming calls to arrange various skip activities to meet customer needs.  Deliver admin where required to include working through the info inbox responding to customer queries and orders.  Deal with members of the public who come into the office to buy materials / place orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To present a professional and friendly service to our customers
  • Manage customer enquiries and orders along with expectations
  • Deal with customer complaints in a positive manner
  • Greet walk in customers in a professional and helpful manner understanding their requirements and meeting their needs
  • Communicate professionally with drivers, site staff and customers whether face to face, by email or over the phone
  • Upselling on call to include skip upsizing

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • Good work ethic and team-player attitude
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent Communication skills – verbal and written 
  • Work in a team environment and on own initiative
