Must have’s

Nice to have’s

  • A basic understanding of IT terminology and technical concepts
  • Previous customer service or helpdesk experience
  • Confidence explaining technical information in a clear, user-friendly way

So, what will you be doing?

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers requiring technical support
  • Providing first-line support via telephone and ticketing systems
  • Logging, prioritising, and managing incidents and service requests
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues at first point of contact where possible
  • Escalating more complex issues to specialist teams when needed
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the lifecycle of their ticket
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers to support issue resolution
  • Following security and compliance procedures at all times
  • Supporting wider team initiatives and project work as required

Working hours

  • Shift rota between 8:00am – 4:30pm, 9:30am – 6:00pm, and 11:30am – 8:00pm
  • Approximately 1 in 6 weekends required, with time off either side
