A great permanent opportunity to join a utility metering department within a commercial company environment. Ensuring the metering database is accurately maintained and kept fully up to date. This role is to provide reliable and timely data management that enables the technical team to plan, deliver and monitor metering activities.

You will be supporting the team with incoming phone calls and email enquiries. Monitoring and dealing with the queries in Jira and raising meter work orders, ensuring the problem is resolved and the customer is kept up to date.

This will be the whole process, beginning to end of a smart meter. Working on different workstreams, monitoring the gains and losses, and looking at fault flows. Various administration tasks and fault investigation. Always keeping the database and systems accurately up to date.

This is a fast-paced role, someone that has an appetite to learn would be ideal for this role. The company is a regulated environment and there is lots to learn! There is plenty of opportunity to grow your career within this department and wider team.

There is hybrid working on offer of two days in the office and three days working from home every week. A competitive salary and great company benefits and training on offer!

Skills/experience and attributes required:

  • Minimum of one to two years experience working in a customer and administrative based role in a commercial office environment
  • Degree educated
  • Intermediate level of Word, Outlook and especially Excel
  • Comfortable with working on different systems and databases
  • Jira is nice to have, but not essential as training will be provided
  • Logical thinking and experience of working to SLA s or KPI s
  • Ability to multitask and to make own decisions
  • Organised and a high attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
  • Happy to work in a fast-paced role
  • Appetite to learn and enjoy learning new skills
  • Outstanding communication and rapport building skills
  • Solid customer service and administration experience

Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 Annual + Great company benefits

Hours Per Week: Full Time
