The Role
You will act as a trusted advisor, not a traditional salesperson. You will partner with clients to understand their needs, recommend standard machinery, or collaborate with our internal engineers to design bespoke solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer & Technical Liaison: Act as the knowledgeable point of contact for precision coil winding enquiries, responding to emails and preparing technical recommendations.
• Technical Bridge: Collaborate with engineering and manufacture teams to diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions using our catalogue or custom builds.
• Full Project Lifecycle: Work toward independently owning the entire process: converting a customer’s problem into a bespoke machine solution and managing the design, build, and installation phases.
• Post-Sales & Logistics: Respond to technical queries and manage the shipping of critical parts to ensure customer production lines remain active.
• Account Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with domestic and international clients to understand their evolving applications.
• Operational Support: Reduce the Principal’s workload by undertaking diverse tasks involved in the day-to-day running of a global business.
Requirements & Experience
• Technical Foundations: Qualified to HNC level (or above) in a technical or production engineering discipline, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical Sales Background: Proven experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strategic Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and manage high-level relationships with international customer base.
• The "Intrapreneur" Mindset: You thrive in a small-team environment where agility is valued over hierarchy. You are a "Legacy Builder" looking to play a vital role in long-term success.
• Adaptability: A multi-tasking expert comfortable juggling bespoke builds and manufacturing partners while handling urgent "production line-stopped" customer calls.
• Environment: Comfortable in a relatively quiet office setting, with the flexibility for occasional visits to customer sites and international trade shows.
