Junior Commercial Assistant
Cheltenham
CF Roberts are a long-established family business in Cheltenham with an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Junior Commercial Assistant to fulfil a new role within an expanding, friendly team. This is a role which involves cover for existing team members with a plan for progress within the commercial team. Full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out.
The role and responsibilities will be varied and include:
- Raising subcontract orders.
- Monitoring and updating systems, trackers and reports.
- Assisting quantity surveyors with preparing project sign offs, administrating accounting systems, project take offs and valuing work.
- Overflow and holiday cover for existing team.
- General administration including placing orders, filing, post, stationary, answering phones, stock vending machines etc.
To be eligible for the role, the following are essential:
- Drive and determination to learn and progress.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Motivated, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

Schedule:
- 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
- 1 Hour lunch break from 1:00pm
Education:
- Core English and Maths skills essential – A-Levels preferred

Salary: Competitive Salary, range £ 19,500.00 to £ 24,000.00 depending on age and experience
