Electronic Design Engineer

Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to start work for a key client of ours, as detailed below:

Responsibilities & required experience:

• Design, development, and evaluation of electronic hardware assemblies
• Producing and reviewing electronic schematics and PCB layouts
• Debugging electronic hardware and supporting board bring-up
• Investigating and resolving hardware design issues and defects
• Conducting EMC / EMI compliance testing and resolving related issues
• Creating and reviewing production and technical documentation
• Supporting customer issue resolution in collaboration with firmware and technical support teams
• Experience using CAD tools (Altium, ORCAD)
• Design-for-manufacture (DFM) understanding
• Experience working with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
