We are excited to be expanding our surveying team due to continued growth and success. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, offering an excellent opportunity to join the team, receive comprehensive training and develop your skills and experience within the role. We’re looking for a Kitchen Designer & Surveyor to deliver exceptional customer service while designing safe, practical and attractive kitchens using CAD. You’ll be the key link between tenants, clients and contractors, taking each project from initial survey through to accurate quotation and installation.
What will you do?
- Visit tenants to survey, discuss requirements and create kitchen designs that balance customer needs, specifications and fitting requirements.
- Produce professional CAD designs, 3D visuals and accurate quotations.
- Present designs to tenants, secure approval and provide clear plans and documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant contract, health & safety and Decent Homes requirements.
- Liaise confidently with clients, contractors and tenants, resolving queries and keeping projects on track.
- Maintain accurate records and upload survey information promptly.
- Support new-build projects, including reviewing architect plans, site checks, revisions and tendering.
- Build strong product and process knowledge to deliver efficient, commercially accurate solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the wider success of the business.
- Always represent the company professionally and work in line with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
What are we looking for?
Someone who is customer-focused, organised and commercially minded, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders. You’ll need to be comfortable with CAD, surveying, kitchen design and client liaison, with a practical understanding of installation requirements and health & safety.

Working Hours and Pattern
- Full time
- Fixed term - 12 months
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
- Competitive salary of £30,125 per annum.
