Exciting, permanent career opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic and thriving company based in Tewkesbury. The company have a very low turnover of staff, and they now have a rare opening for a brand-new CAD Designer to join the team.
Working within modern recently newly refurbished offices this role blends imaginative retail storytelling with precise technical execution, turning brand concepts into compelling in-store displays, fixtures, and promotional environments. You’ll work closely with design and production teams to develop innovative retail display solutions that elevate experience and drive commercial impact.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 2D and 3D retail display concepts, including temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent displays.
- Create detailed technical drawings and production-ready specifications using industry standard CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Solid Edge, or similar).
- Understand materials and measurement in steel and timber, also good skill with render packages.
- Translate brand guidelines into engaging in-store visual solutions that enhance product visibility and shopper engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
- Produce high-quality visualisations, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate design intent.
- Work with suppliers and production partners to refine designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure manufacturability.
- Stay current with retail trends, materials, fabrication techniques, and sustainability practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Candidate Attributes:
- Proficiency in CAD Packages (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Solid Edge or similar).
- Ability to balance creativity with practicality, producing designs that are both visually striking and production ready.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to internal teams and clients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is an advantage.
Hours – Monday – Friday – 9am – 5.30pm
