Domestic Services Cleaner - Zero hours

The Dean Close Foundation is seeking a reliable and flexible Cleaner to support our Domestic Services team in maintaining a clean, safe and pleasant environment across the school. This role is offered on a zero-hours, basis, providing cover during school holidays, busy periods, and staff absence.

Dean Close School is a thriving independent co-educational day and boarding school set in 55 acres on the edge of Cheltenham, with around 900 pupils aged 3 - 18. Founded in 1886, the school has a strong Christian ethos and offers a supportive and welcoming working environment.

Duties include general cleaning of school facilities such as classrooms, corridors, toilets and shower areas; vacuuming, dusting, and polishing; waste disposal and recycling; and the safe use of cleaning equipment and materials. The successful candidate will also follow health and safety regulations and report any maintenance issues as required.

Flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness are essential.
