CLEANERS - PART-TIME
Cheltenham
Term-time only
Monday – Friday 16:00 – 20:00 – ‘up to’ 20 hours per week
plus 4 weeks deep clean at various times across the school year in school holidays
Required for September 2025 after successful interview and subject to satisfactory references.
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all parts of the school. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and safe environment will contribute to the overall satisfaction of staff and students.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, using scrubber dryer, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and as directed
- Follow cleaning procedures and protocols set by the Cleaning Supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Notify cleaning supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff
