Delivery and Collections Driver

This role is to deliver freight successfully, within your designated route. Adhering to APC delivery audit requirements, once training is complete.

In addition to delivering freight, you will be expected to collect freight from our customers within time windows set by the customer.

• Arriving promptly, clocking in for your shift via Sage HR app and conducting a van safety check daily.
• Following our APC guidelines when delivering freight.
• Timely and efficient within the estimated time window delivery.
• Communicating regularly with the Operations team regarding any issues with deliveries.
• Liaising with management when route is complete, so customers collections can be sent through.
• Collecting freight from our customers within the collection window agreed with sales team.
• Using the EPOD scanner at all times
• Building and maintaining friendly and professional relationships with management, warehouse, drivers and our customers.
• Housekeeping – keeping a clear and tidy vehicle
• Adhering to H&S – Manual Handling, Vehicles on site policy and ensuring that walkways are clear and PPE is worn at all times when delivering in the warehouse.
• Motivating and positive attitude with team.
• Driving safely and adhering to the highway code.
• Reporting any accidents and incidents to the vehicle.
• Friendly manner with our loyal customer base.
• Supporting the warehouse with the morning shift should you wish for additional hours.
• Debrief the operations team at the end of your shift before leaving.
• Clocking out.
