Class 2 HGV Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to work for a national company who supply generators and fuel to the construction and events sectors.
Working in their fuel tanker, you will be responsible for the safe and prompt delivery of fuels to a wide range of clients across the region.

Job Title Class 2 HGV Driver
Location Field based (the depot is based in Portbury, Bristol)
Salary Package £17-19 per hour + excellent overtime rates (overall earnings £45K+)
Hours - 8-4 Mon-Thurs, 8-3.30 Fri (overtime paid at time and half/ double time)
Main Duties
- Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to customers across a range of industries
- Always provide a high level of customer service
- Comply with all relevant procedures and safe systems of work
- Ensure proof of delivery paperwork is completed on all deliveries
- Maintain full compliance with ADR and health & safety procedures
- Complete all relevant delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
- Willingness to take on other duties as and when required by the business
Requirements
Essential
- Valid Class 2 (category C) licence
- CPC Driver Qualification
- Full understanding of Drivers Hours & WTD Regulations
- Clean Driving Licence
- Strong focus on safety and professionalism
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable
- Towing experience
- Tanker experience
- ADR Certificate Class 3 in tanks
Salary: £17 to £19 Hourly + overtime (OTE £45K+)
Hours Per Week: Full Time
