HGV Class 1 Driver

Pay Rate: £14.50 £21.660 per hour (PAYE) £20.00 - £25.00 per hour (Umbrella)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ad-hoc, single-drop deliveries in Gloucester and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for drivers who prefer straightforward routes with no multi-drop work or heavy lifting involved.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining a professional approach at all times. Flexible shifts are available, along with the option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella.

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for single-drop deliveries

• Ensure goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition

• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and driver logs

• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules

• Maintain professional communication with customers and the transport team

• Report any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

• Previous Class 1 driving experience

• Good understanding of road safety and driving regulations

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Flexibility to cover ad-hoc shifts

• Professional manner and strong communication skills
