CLASS 1 DRIVER - class 1 sh
Shrewsbury
Class 1 HGV Driver - General Haulage
Location: Shrewsbury SY13LB
Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekends needed too
06.00 am start until finish
Our client is a proud member of the Road Haulage Association (RHA), and is currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers to join their dynamic team. With a fleet of over 20 HGVs, including a variety of vehicles such as curtain siders, tail lifts, low loaders, and Moffet, they are a leading player in the haulage industry.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate and drive HGVs, ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods.
Adhere to the Road Haulage Association conditions of carriage in all aspects of the job.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes.
Complete accurate and timely documentation related to each delivery.
Maintain regular communication with the dispatch team to ensure smooth coordination of schedules.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 HGV license.
CPC qualification.
Previous experience in driving a range of HGV vehicles.
Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
