HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Are you a dependable and experienced HGV Class 1 night driver? Join a growing, well-established company based in Gloucester offering long-term job security, great earning potential, and a supportive team environment.

Position Details:
We are recruiting for a full-time, HGV Class 1 night driver. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with consistent evening start times between 16:00 and 19:00, paying £18.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts

- Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects

- Trunking work, no handball

- Maintain accurate and timely delivery records

- Comply with all road safety and health & safety regulations

- Maintain professional communication with transport and site teams

Requirements:

- Full, valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

- Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

- A solid understanding of road safety and driver compliance

- Reliable, punctual, and a team player

- Previous experience preferred, especially with night driving
