Class People are currently recruiting for Mentor and Mentoring Assistant jobs across Herefordshire & Worcestershire within alternative provision settings supporting vulnerable young people and adults.
These roles are ideal for individuals with experience in education, care, youth work, support work, SEND, or transferable life experience who are passionate about making a real difference.
You will be working in a highly supportive environment, delivering 1:1 mentoring and tailored learning support to help learners re-engage with education, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Mentor & Mentoring Assistant Job Responsibilities
As a Mentor or Mentoring Assistant in Herefordshire & Worcestershire, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering 1:1 mentoring sessions with young people and adults
Supporting EHCP targets and individual learning plans
Building positive, trusting relationships with learners
Delivering creative and engaging life skills and learning activities
Supporting emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
Working alongside schools, councils, and external professionals
Contributing to safeguarding and positive behaviour support strategies
