Non-Resident Matron

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Non-Resident Matron based at Dean Close Preparatory School. The role is for 21 hours per week, 36 weeks per year, plus fortnightly Sunday duties (approximately) during term time.
We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to support in a boys (aged 10-13) boarding house as part of a residential care team. Responsibilities include providing pastoral care, helping with daily routines and personal organization, assisting with medical needs, supporting bedtime routines, and fostering a positive and supportive environment. The role also involves light domestic tasks, liaising with Houseparents, assisting with induction of new staff, and occasional household purchasing within budget. Full training will be provided.
