Non-Residential Matron
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Dean Close School are looking to appoint a caring, organised and enthusiastic Non-Residential Matron to join the team in Shelburne House. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in the daily life of a thriving boarding house, providing pastoral, welfare and practical support to pupils aged 13–18. This is a part time post, working 24 hours per week, during term time, and includes some Saturdays.
As a Matron, you will help create a warm, welcoming and well-organised home-from-home environment where pupils feel supported, valued and able to flourish. Working closely with the Housemistress and wider boarding team, you will be a trusted adult presence and an important contributor to the wellbeing and success of our pupils.
Experience of working within a Boarding School environment is desirable, or experience of working with and caring for young people.
