About the role
Due to growth within the team, we are seeking 2 experienced, passionate and learner-focused Learner Journey Managers to lead the delivery of high-quality learner programmes that maximise learning, independence and wellbeing for young people with disabilities, learning difficulties and complex needs.

One of these roles will be term time only (39 hours a week / 42 weeks per year) and the other all year round (37 hours a week / 52 weeks per year)

Working collaboratively with a wide range of internal teams and external professionals, you will play a key role in shaping learner experiences, driving quality improvement and ensuring learners are prepared to contribute fully to adult life.

Key Responsibilities

*Lead, manage and develop the Learner Journey Co-ordinator team.

*Monitor learner progress and achievement using the RARPA framework.

*Ensure EHCP outcomes are achieved and learner aspirations are supported.

*Plan and evaluate learning opportunities that develop independence and life skills.

*Support effective transition planning into and beyond college.

*Provide pastoral support and promote learner autonomy.

*Build positive relationships with colleagues, families and external agencies.

*Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and health and safety.

About You

*Qualified teacher (Level 5 Diploma, PGCE or equivalent).

*Experience developing learning provision for learners with disabilities, learning difficulties and complex needs.

*Experience leading or managing a team.

*Knowledge of the RARPA framework.

*Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
