SEND Lecturer in Maths

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to inspire and support learners by creating personalised learning opportunities that are firmly focused on their individual destinations. You will play a key role in developing learners’ independence, confidence, and employability skills, empowering them to progress successfully into further learning or employment.

About You

·       You will have experience supporting learners with additional needs, including SEND or those who have gaps in their education due to individual circumstances.

·       You will be confident in delivering Functional Skills Maths in a way that is engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday life.

·       You will hold a recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTTLS, or Certificate in Education.

·       You will have achieved GCSE English and Maths at grades A*–C (or equivalent).

·       You will have practical experience of safeguarding and understand how to keep learners safe within an educational or support setting.
