We are seeking to appoint a Teacher to lead and teach P.E across KS1 and KS2 from September 2026. (Initially a fixed term contract with the view of becoming permanent role within school - 0.5 FTE - 2.5 days or 5 x .01 PM's)

- Have experience and ideas to plan and deliver an engaging sports offer across Gloucester Road Primary School.
- Lead P.E to include a comprehensive enrichment offer of intra and inter school competition.
- Have a passion for Forest School as a trained practitioner or willingness to undertake the training.
- Develop the links between sports and play, including enhancing our OPAL offer.
- Consider cross-curricular opportunities with Science, PSHE and Computing.
- Support relational practice and strive to develop respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Be flexible and adaptive in their approach to teaching to accommodate diverse pupil need.
- Be compassionate and consistent with pupils to enable them to regulate and access their education successfully.

We are a small primary school situated in the heart of Cheltenham with 206 pupils on roll. There is a strong, caring ethos between both staff and pupils and the school has a strong 'family' feel.
