St Mark’s C of E Junior School is seeking an inspirational and motivated Key Stage 2 class teacher to join our dedicated, supportive and forward thinking team.

As a Church of England (VA) school, our Christian vision and values shape every aspect of school life. We are therefore looking for a teacher who can actively uphold and contribute to our ethos and culture.

We are particularly interested in appointing a confident and skilled practitioner with subject leadership strengths, ideally in Mathematics or Computing. For this reason, the position is not suitable for ECTs.

We are looking for a skilled professional who:

• Is a leader of learning with high expectations of every child
• Fosters a nurturing and inclusive learning ethos, fully supporting the school’s Christian vision and values which are at the very heart of our school
• Provides a carefully structured education, adapting to the needs of all learners enabling pupils to flourish both in their academic and personal development
• Is quick to identify barriers to learning and proactive in equipping the children to overcome them
• Can develop children’s understanding of the ever-changing world around us and the positive contribution we can all make to serving our local, national and global communities.

Visits to the school are encouraged and have been arranged to take place as follows:

Monday 23rd March 4:00pm

Tuesday 24th March 4.00pm

Wednesday 25th March 12.30pm
