The Role
Drybrook Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Class Teacher to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover contract for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative school environment and contribute to high quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver high quality lessons in line with the primary curriculum
Monitor and assess pupil progress and use assessment data to inform teaching
Ensure all pupils are appropriately supported and challenged, including those with SEND and Pupil Premium
Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support whole school initiatives
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Successful Candidate Will
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Be committed to achieving high standards and positive outcomes for pupils
Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
Be enthusiastic, reflective and committed to professional development
Be a supportive team member who contributes to the wider life of the school
Experience teaching across the primary age range or supporting pupils with SEND would be desirable.
