As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of students, providing them with the individualised support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEND
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help students access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in classroom activities and discussions
- Monitoring and recording student progress, and communicating regularly with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the students' care
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A relevant qualification in education, special needs, or a related field (e.g. , Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning and record-keeping
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in inclusive education
