Gloucestershire College seeks a Computing Lecturer to teach BTEC and T Level courses. No teaching experience? Full training and mentoring provided. Join a collaborative team, use modern labs, and inspire students with practical, industry-relevant skills, while developing your own career across our campuses.

As a Lecturer in Computing, you’ll teach across Levels 1–5, including BTEC, T Level Digital Support and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs). Teaching experience is not essential; we will fully support you to achieve your teaching qualification while learning alongside an experienced and supportive team. You will deliver engaging, practical learning that reflects current industry practice, using modern facilities and up‑to‑date hardware and software. With opportunities to teach across a range of computing specialisms, no two days will be the same. Together, you’ll help inspire students and support them to develop the skills they need for their future careers.

About You:

  • Knowledge of own specialist area is current and appropriate to the teaching context.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • PGCE, DTTLS or Certificate in Education (or willingness to complete).
  • Minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent Level 2 in English and mathematics.
  • Willingness to undertake Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding training.
  • Experience of teaching BTEC relevant subject at different levels
  • Experience of teaching T level in relevant subject
