Hartmore School is experiencing a period of significant growth and as part of this development we are recruiting for several teaching roles across our school. Throughout this expansion, we remain fully committed to maintaining the high-quality provision for which we are known. This growth presents an exciting opportunity to join our passionate, values driven team.

If you’re an experienced teacher who is inspired by the idea of helping pupils rebuild confidence, rediscover learning and shape a positive future, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, resilient and skilled secondary teacher to lead a small, mixed ability class (KS4/KS5) of around 7-8 pupils in our co-ed provision. You will teach across the curriculum, supported by experienced teaching assistants, and play a vital pastoral role in helping pupils grow socially, emotionally and academically.

You will be teaching within our upper age range and supporting learners who will generally be working below age related expectations and require a highly nurturing, adaptive approach.

You will play an active role in whole school development, providing leadership in areas such as subject planning and the ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network).

Hartmore School is committed to maintaining a robust safer recruitment process. All applicants are required to complete an Application for Employment form and submit a cover letter and supporting personal statement (no more than 2 sides of A4) for any advertised position. Please note that applications submitted by CV alone cannot be considered.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff, and volunteers, to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
