Longlevens Primary Federation is made up of Longlevens Infant School, Longlevens Junior School and Playdays Early Years. We are a large organisation on the outskirts of the city of Gloucester and serve the community of Longlevens and its environs.
The schools are on separate sites about 500 metres from each other. We have over 870 children in our care.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team. This post will also include a Midday Supervisor role, working in the first instance at the Junior School.
Working hours will be as a Teaching Assistant - Monday – Friday 8.30-12.15 18.75 –per week on a Grade 5 points 11-14 if qualified (£27,269-£28624 per annum pro rata, actual estimated salary £11,555-£12,128).
MDSA hours 12-15 to 13.15 – 5 hours per week Grade 2 point 3 (£24,027 per annum pro rata, actual estimated salary £2715)
The post is term time only, and will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
The successful applicant will be required to have the ability to work as part of a team, have excellent communication skills and an awareness of safeguarding and health and safety in school. Appropriate knowledge of First Aid would be an advantage.
