Our English and Maths team works across all three campuses, delivering GCSE and Functional Skills in a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment where every learner can grow in confidence and achieve their goals. We use a personalised, workshop-style approach, combining engaging teaching, digital tools and individual support to help students develop the skills they need for their next steps. Progress is carefully tracked, with fair and consistent assessment, clear communication and positive behaviour support to keep learners motivated. As part of the team, you’ll benefit from coaching, regular support from your manager and access to a wide range of resources, helping you continue to develop your teaching practice while making a real difference to learners’ futures.
About you
- Previous experience of teaching GCSE and/or functional skills English
- Appropriate Teaching qualification such as a PGCE (or willingness to complete)
- Appropriate English qualification to at least A level standard
- Willingness to undertake Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding training
We are open to applications from experienced qualified Lecturers or from those with an English degree who are looking to make a move into teaching.
