B007 English and Maths Workshop Mentor

You will support students to succeed in English and maths through a range of tailored learning activities, including classroom support, one-to-one and small group sessions, workshops, and exam preparation. Working closely with lecturers and the Learning Support team, you'll help deliver personalised support for students with SEND, ensuring EHCP targets, exam access arrangements and agreed strategies are effectively implemented. You'll use a variety of resources and approaches to create an inclusive learning experience, monitor student engagement and progress through College systems, and contribute to reviews, team discussions and continuous professional development.
About You
- Working with 16+ age range
- Working with individuals who with additional learning needs and/or a lack of motivation
- Coaching/mentoring/ supporting young people
- Minimum of level 2 qualification in English and/or maths
- Safeguarding training or willingness to work towards
