We are seeking to appoint an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery as soon as possible. Experience of supporting children effectively in an early years setting is essential to this role, as is the ability to be commited, enthusiastic, organised, efficient, flexible and friendly. Also, essential to this role is the ability to support children’s social, emotional and mental health needs. The post is working term time only, Monday-Friday from 08:45-16:15 and an additional hour one day per week for planning, etc. on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will need to be someone who works hard to do their very best for our children and is a good team player. We will also be willing to consider a job share for the right candidates.
Early Years Practitioners and Teaching Assistants have regular contact with parents, so a professional demeanour and confidence to speak to a child’s parent or carer is an essential skill for the successful candidate to demonstrate.
