We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisors to work as part of our lunchtime team, to ensure that our children have a safe and enjoyable lunch experience.
The role will involve: ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times; supervising conduct of pupils in the lunch hall and playground; setting up the lunch hall and cleaning after lunch; supporting and encouraging pupils’ social interaction and undertaking first aid as needed.
Please note this vacancy is a temporary contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
Hours/work pattern: Both roles are 11:45am–1:15pm each school day (1.5 hours per day), term time only, giving a total of 7.5 hours per week. We are happy to consider job share arrangements, so please get in touch if you are available for up to 5 days per week.
Start date: 23rd February where possible; however, we understand that applicants currently in employment may need to work a notice period.
Pay: Grade 2, Scale Point 3 (£24,796 FTE pro rata)
Candidates must:
• Have a calm and positive manner with children.
• Previous experience of working with children may be an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.
• Be willing to undertake role-specific training where required.
• Successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
