We are seeking individuals with expertise in areas such as financial, law, technology, commercial, fundraising or multi-academy trusts. While education sector experience is not required, candidates should have strong business acumen, financial management skills and some governance experience.
Sound judgement, strong communication skills and an empathy with the mission and values of
Churchdown School are also essential.
Churchdown School offers a comprehensive induction program, ensuring that the successful applicant gains a strong understanding of the school’s current needs and requirements.
Commitment
• 7 Board meetings per year (in person during term time, 5pm for 2 hrs)
• 4 sub-committee meetings per year (in person during term time, 3pm for 2 hrs (Finance & resources only)
• Termly school visits for monitoring and learning walks
This is a 4 year, unremunerated position, with the option for a renewal.
