Heart of the Forest Community Special School currently has a vacancy at our school, for a clerk to the governors
Salary Grade 6, pt 15 £30,024 /per annum pro-rata on a claim only basis
The successful candidate will act as the official channel of communication to and from the governing board and to enable the governing board to function smoothly and efficiently.
Main responsibilities will be to set agendas, take minutes and draft correspondence. You will need: Clerical skills
· The ability to communicate effectively in both speech and writing.
· Knowledge about governing board and LA processes and procedures.
· Tact, discretion and the ability to work under pressure.
Hours of work to be determined by the needs of the governors.
Vacancy will close early if a suitable applicant is found.
