We are seeking to appoint a happy, positive and kind Administrative Assistant and Receptionist to join our friendly and dedicated team. Working closely with the Office Manager and School Business Manager, you will play a key role in setting the ethos of the school and ensuring processes are followed and deadlines met.

About the Role
As an administrator, you will ensure the school's warm, welcoming and friendly ethos is extended to all visitors and guests. You will be working under the direction of our wonderful Office Manager to help the school office run as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Front desk & enquiries
• Monitoring and responding to emails and telephone calls
• Maintain filing systems during and end of year
• Archive files when requested by SBM
• Support SBM with VAT submittals to GCC, filing BACS and ad hoc requests
• Support Office Manager with In-Year and Year-End file transfer
• Maintain staff training spreadsheet
• Record morning and afternoon attendance
• Process term time absence requests
• Liaise with parents
• Report attendance concerns to pastoral lead
• Report absences to class teachers
• Record daily lunch charges and set up all payment items for trips and events
• Monitor overdue balance and liaise with parents and staff as necessary
• Set up and share pupil account letters with parents as required
• Support parents with ParentPay queries
• Monitor stationery levels
• Raise stationery, cleaning and general order requisitions
• Place orders
• Checking delivery of goods, arranging returns as required
• Request COSHH Sheets as necessary & file
• Input orders when requested to do so
• Banking as required
• Manage order requisitions for petty cash
• Administer claims and issue petty cash as required
• Processing on FMS
• Replenish as required
• Administer medication and liaise with parents as required
• Maintain medication records
• Monitor pupil medication kept onsite
