Electrical Fitter

Position: Electrical Fitter
Position: contract
Location: Gloucester
Pay rate: £15.00 to £23 per hour PAYE (depending on experience)
Hours of work: 37 and overtime paid time and a half
We are now seeking to recruit Electrical Fitter to work for Gloucestershire based client looking for contract electrical fitter with good working knowledge of engineering drawings and electrical wiring.
Responsibilities:
Building sub-assemblies and control panels as required by schematics and drawings
Checking and verifying the accuracy of assemblies and control panels on completion.
Bench fitting work
Build of electrical sub-assemblies
Use of conventional hand and machine tools
Trunking and conduits building
Requirement:
A strong background in electrical assembly, wiring, and fault finding.
Control panel wiring and able to demonstrate experience in working and reading technical wiring diagrams
An electrical apprenticeship or technical training to City & Guilds or NVQ qualification or equivalent level is ideal but Candidates who have experience through a time served route would also be of interest.
