The Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner who can programme, set and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components and tooling.
You will be working on low to medium volume batches, ensuring components are manufactured to specification while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines.
- Produce components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform first-off inspections and maintain quality throughout production.
- Optimise machining processes to maximise efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Work as part of a skilled engineering team.
Essential Requirements
- Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
- Fanuc programming experience.
- Experience with mainstream CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Experience
- Experience operating Doosan CNC lathes with live tooling.
- Previous experience machining:
- Precision components for a variety of engineering industries.
Working Hours
Day Shift Only
- Monday to Thursday
- 6:30am 4:30pm
- 38 hours per week
- Permanent 4-day working week
Salary
- £18.00 £22.50 per hour
- Salary dependent on skills and experience.
