Drainage Engineer - Flexible / Part-Time (15-20 Hours per Week) UK-Based Remote / Hybrid Options

Planning deadlines don't slow down - and neither should your technical delivery.

We are working with a number of engineering design consultancies who require additional Drainage Engineering support on a flexible basis.

This is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to provide technical input without committing to a full-time position.

The Opportunity

You will support live residential and mixed-use schemes at planning and technical stage, helping teams manage workload peaks and maintain programme momentum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
  • Residential drainage design (surface & foul)
  • Section 278/S38 works experience
  • Planning & technical stage packages
  • Liaison with local authorities, LLFAs and statutory undertakers
About You
  • Proven experience in residential drainage design
  • Strong understanding of UK planning and adoption processes
  • Comfortable working independently and managing deliverables
  • Experience with relevant software (e.g. Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage or similar)
