Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an international equipment manufacturer. If you re skilled in Autodesk AutoCAD 2025, especially in 2D (and comfortable dipping into 3D), this is your chance to be part of something powerful.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Producing a wide range of electrical drawings to support project delivery and sales enquiries.
• Collaborating with the Projects Team to generate drawings that bring contracts to life.
• Assisting the Sales Team by drafting concept drawings for potential enquiries.
• Creating clear, accurate documents including:
  • Electrical Single Line Diagrams
  • Control Schematics
  • Interconnection Drawings
  • Cable Schedules
  • 2D and 3D Room Layouts based on architectural building plans
• Managing and integrating subcontractor drawings into our designs.
• Balancing multiple deadlines and prioritizing workloads to deliver critical drawings on time.
• Following a clear and structured drawing production, review, and approval process.

What We re Looking For:

• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD 2025, particularly in 2D (some 3D work required).
• A background in electrical engineering, ideally with some understanding of electrical power systems.
• A sharp eye for layout, structure, and detail.
• Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but can manage their own workload with minimal supervision.
