Are you a Golf Course Manager, Head Greenkeeper or experienced Greenkeeper who has supported apprentices and wants to pass on your knowledge to the next generation?
Do you want to step away from the day-to-day demands of course management into a rewarding Monday-to-Friday role where you'll develop apprentices, work closely with employers and continue building the future of the golf industry?
This leading land-based education provider has an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality apprenticeship programmes across the UK. With continued investment in its people, facilities and curriculum, it offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Greenkeeping professional to move into education with full training and long-term career development.
Previous teaching experience isn't required. Instead, they're looking for someone with a strong background in Greenkeeping who has experience supporting apprentices from the employer side and understands what it takes to develop skilled professionals within the industry.
In this role, you'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, delivering training, carrying out workplace assessments and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll also work closely with employers, conducting reviews, completing health and safety visits and helping ensure apprentices successfully achieve their qualifications.
This role offers an excellent balance of office, classroom and field-based work. Rather than managing one golf course, you'll use your industry experience to support multiple employers and apprentices while remaining closely connected to the industry.
