Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a long-established manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Gloucester.

Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a Graduate / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and assist with the creation of 3D modelling drawings.

Graduate Design Engineer Job Overview

• Assisting with 3D CAD modelling of large mechanical assemblies and components
• Producing and updating manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Supporting the design of bespoke tooling
• Assisting with modifications and improvements to existing installed machinery
• Working closely with manufacturing to understand build methods, tolerances, and practicality
• Gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial machinery, from concept through to manufacture

Graduate Design Engineer Job Requirements

• Either recently qualified within Mechanical / Design Engineering or relevant experience
• Based in a commutable distance of Gloucester
• Experienced with 3D modelling software such as Solidworks or SolidEdge.
• Practical mindset and ability to work as part of a team

• Salary 25,000 - 30,000
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
