This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of next-generation GPU technology, helping to design the foundational silicon IP that powers billions of devices worldwide - from mobile and automotive to smart and connected systems.
We're partnering with a world-leading semiconductor IP company whose graphics and compute architectures set industry benchmarks for performance, power efficiency, and scalability. As a Staff GPU HW Design Engineer, you'll take technical ownership of complex hardware blocks and influence architectures used across multiple product generations.
What you'll be doing- Designing and optimising complex GPU hardware modules at RTL level
- Developing micro-architecture specifications and execution plans
- Analysing and balancing frequency, area, power, and performance (PPA) trade-offs
- Collaborating closely with verification, validation, and architecture teams
- Debugging and resolving design issues across the silicon lifecycle
- Participating in design reviews and driving continuous improvement
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture
- Staying at the forefront of modern ASIC/GPU design techniques and tools
- Strong background in digital IC design methodologies
- Hands-on RTL design experience (SystemVerilog) at IP or SoC level
- Experience optimising designs for performance-critical silicon
- Familiarity with ASIC and/or FPGA design flows
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
- Exposure to GPU, CPU, DSP, or FPU architectures
- Knowledge of formal verification and design intent capture
- Experience with P&R / physical design flows
- Programming skills in C, C++, Python, SystemC, Perl, or TCL
- Understanding of UVM-based verification environments
