Multi-Skilled Engineer
Ledbury
Multi-Skilled Engineer needed in Ledbury, Salary: £40,300-£50,000 per year, Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm, Shifts: Monday-Friday (rotating 5:30am-2pm / 1:30pm-10pm), occasional weekends/on-call support, free onsite parking, access to onsite canteen, full uniform provided.
This is a hands-on engineering role where youll maintain, repair, and improve production equipment across mechanical and electrical disciplines. Youll play a key role in keeping the facility operating at peak efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with production and quality teams, mentoring junior engineers as needed
To be successful :
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent (HNC/HND desirable)
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach
