Engineering Shift Team Leader
Location: Tewkesbury Depot
Shift Pattern: Week 1: Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00 | Week 2: Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Shift Team Leader to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on role, leading and mentoring a team of Engineers to ensure the smooth running of production and distribution operations.
What You'll Do
* Supervise, train and support Engineers and Apprentices
* Lead planned preventative maintenance across the site
* Carry out electrical/mechanical repairs and testing
* Diagnose and resolve faults on high-speed automated machinery
* Ensure compliance records and departmental paperwork are accurate
* Deputise for the Engineering Manager when required
* Participate in call-out rota for breakdowns
What We're Looking For
* Electrical apprenticeship qualification - essential
* Proven experience with high-speed automated machinery in production
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* Previous supervisory/team leader experience
* Self-motivated with strong communication and leadership skills
* Flexible and adaptable, with a high standard of workmanship
