This is a 12 week temp to perm opportunity offering the chance to work alongside an experienced Engineer, develop valuable maintenance skills, and secure a long term career within a stable manufacturing environment.

Shift Details
Option 1:Day Shift
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
Option 2: Alternating Weekly Shift
Week 1Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:30
Week 2Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 22:30 20% Shift Premium Paid after 14:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Site Engineer with maintenance and repair tasks
- Assisting with machinery, equipment and facility maintenance
- Carrying out basic mechanical repairs and upkeep
- Supporting preventative maintenance schedules
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assisting with installation and assembly work as required
- Moving materials and equipment around site
- Reporting faults, breakdowns and health & safety concerns
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Supporting the wider team with general maintenance duties
What We're Looking For
- Previous maintenance, engineering or mechanical experience preferred
- Handyman, workshop or fitting experience considered
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills
- Electrical awareness would be advantageous
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred
- lReliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
