Senior Estimator

Senior Estimator required for a leading regional contractor delivering major refurbishment, fit out and construction projects. Excellent opportunity to join a highly successful pre-construction team working on projects across the South West.

The Role

An established regional contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role within its growing Pre-Construction team.

You will lead tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, working closely with directors, operational teams and key clients across a broad portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading competitive tender submissions
• Managing multiple tenders simultaneously
• Reviewing specifications, drawings and contract information
• Producing detailed cost plans and estimates
• Managing subcontractor enquiry processes
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
• Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Preparing tender adjudications and presentations
• Supporting framework and negotiated opportunities
• Working closely with operational and commercial teams
• Building relationships with clients and consultants
• Assisting with strategic bid planning

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator
• Main contractor construction experience essential
• Experience across refurbishment, fit out and new build projects
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Ability to lead complex tender submissions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
