Must haves:
- Experience within the food or drink sector.
- Strong IT and administration skills, numeracy, and good English.
- Customer service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory and logistics.
- Experience with planning and forecasting.
- Skilled in Excel and supply chain software (e.g., SAP).
- Strong knowledge of FMCG operations.
- CIPS Level 2 qualified.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service with a professional approach
- Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure supply chain continuity
- Analyse data and market trends to forecast product demand
- Manage transportation, storage, and stock movements between depots
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Resolve stock issues and support sales and account managers
- Make cost-effective purchasing decisions to maximise margin
- Promote health & safety, food safety, and ESG practices
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
