Production Team Leader (Temp to Perm)
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: Starting at £14.54 per hour, increasing with training (up to £15.42)
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week (5 shifts per week, Monday-Saturday)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Due to internal progression and continued growth, we are recruiting a Production Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment on a temp to perm basis , offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional looking to develop within a leadership role in the food sector.
Working Pattern
* Start times: 05:15 or 13:30
* Finish times: Based on production demands
* Saturday shifts: 05:15 or 11:00
* Team Leaders must be flexible and able to commit to both early and late shifts.
* Shifts do not follow a fixed early/late weekly rotation and are subject to production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and train production operatives to maximise line efficiency
* Ensure production meets internal and external quality standards
* Complete and oversee accurate production records
* Escalate maintenance, quality or operational issues promptly
* Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards
* Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance
* Provide flexibility to meet operational demands
Please note: This is a physically active role involving manual handling.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous Team Leader experience within a fast-paced production environment
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Effective communication and team leadership ability
* Flexibility to work varying shifts and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Experience within food production
* Knowledge of HACCP and KPI-driven environments
* FMCG or dairy sector experience
